Underwater Photograph
This is the image i think i am going to paint. It will be quite an odd one to do, but i am going to give it a go. I like how the bubbles distort the face and also it because it will be so intricate to paint but then you can only just make it out as a person. I want to keep it quite faded and misty, using more pastel colours than i am used to.

Alyssa Monks - water ladies
I am in love with Alyssa Monks and her paintings, yes they are paintings! she uses water, steam, glass and other things as a sort of filter. I would love to try some of this and i think it will add an extra element to my portrait paintings. And after posing in the bath for my 'moment' project, i am ready to jump back in, as i really feel that this is a good way to go with my paintings, because i have been a bit lost as what to do recently regarding my painting all i know is i like to paint flesh.
Moment exhibition
This is my response to the 'moment' project. It started off with me just wanting to film my self underwater in a sort of meditation, thinking about nothing but the fact that i am under water, (living in the moment) then i realised that water just goes up your nose, so i just went with it and made a sort of drowning video that displays the moment your body reacts to an uncomfortable situation..

Animation with Beth
Here is a short video i made with my friends beth and lucy over christmas. It is just an experiment and would like to take this technique further as i also wanted to try a human animation, lip sinking using ether a voiceover or using an actual song, like Peter Gabriel’s music video for ‘Sledgehammer.’ This would be great but very complicated and time consuming.
